Get out there and socialize!!

I have definitely had my moments of being a "homebody". Its easy. Nobody bothers me and I bothers nobody. I realized that's not cool at all after a year or two of doing it lol. I am not saying get out there and be buck wild and out of control. I am just saying get outside sometimes. Don't hide behind social media and start living in an alternate world of virtual illusion. Spending time engaging in social activities can have numerous benefits for physical and mental health. It can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, and boost overall well-being.

The Bible has much to say about the importance of socializing with others and building strong, healthy relationships like, "And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near." (Hebrews 10:24-25)

There is importance of coming together with other believers and encouraging one another in love and good deeds. It also warns against neglecting to meet with others, which can lead to spiritual stagnation. And this applies also beyond the 4 walls of the church. Fellowship with one another. We just have to be sincerely mindful of who we socialize with. Scripture tells us "Do not be deceived: 'Bad company corrupts good morals.'" (1 Corinthians 15:33)

So we must choose our friends and social circles wisely.

I am one of few friends as far as a consistent social circle. "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24)

This verse highlights the importance of having close, supportive friendships, and emphasizes the value of loyalty and faithfulness in relationships. Overall, the Bible emphasizes the importance of socializing with others and building strong, healthy relationships. It teaches us to be intentional and wise in our choices of friends and social circles, and to seek out opportunities to encourage and support one another in love and good deeds. So if you're sitting up in the house like a hermit purposely being anti social its time to get out there and socialize! Even if its once or twice or month. Start somewhere for God sake. Get off of the couch an go brush your teeth and freshen up. Put on a decent outfit or an ensemble if your a dude and get out there for an hour or two.

Seriously though, getting outside and being social in healthy environments can have numerous benefits for physical and mental health. So, take some time to enjoy life and the company of others – your mind and body will thank you!
