Here is a "Fried Chicken" recipe from my new E-book. "This is so vegan delicious" Vegan fried "chicken" can be a tasty and satisfying alternative to traditional fried chicken. It is also a good option for people with dietary restrictions or allergies to animal-derived products. Here is a recipe you may enjoy



Ingredients:

  • 1 block of firm tofu, cut into small cubes

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup of plant-based milk (such as soy milk or almond milk)

  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.

  2. Pour the plant-based milk into a separate shallow dish.

  3. Dip each piece of tofu into the plant-based milk, and then roll it in the flour mixture to coat it evenly.

  4. Heat a few inches of oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).

  5. Carefully add a few pieces of the coated tofu to the hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Remove the tofu from the oil with a slotted spoon and place it on a paper towel to drain any excess oil.

  7. Repeat the process with the remaining tofu pieces.

  8. Serve the vegan fried "chicken" with your choice of dipping sauce and enjoy!

Note: Be sure to use caution when frying foods, as hot oil can be dangerous. Make sure to keep a close eye on the oil and use a thermometer to monitor the temperature to prevent the oil from getting too hot.
